Pin Toolbox is not about "saving a few images". It treats Pinterest as a data source: export whole boards, bulk grab by keyword, and export each Pin's description and source link together as a CSV. It is a paid tool that only covers Pinterest, but it goes deeper on that platform than anything else.

What is Pin Toolbox?
Pin Toolbox is a paid extension built only for Pinterest. What sets it apart from the free Pinterest Image Downloader is not "can it download images", but that it treats Pinterest as a dataset you can query and export.
There are three core differences: bulk grabbing by keyword (not just existing boards, you can collect by search term), metadata export (each Pin's title, description, source link and save count go into a CSV), and more reliable large-batch handling (it handles infinite scroll more completely than free tools).
Its target user is clear: people doing market research, planning content topics, or organizing asset libraries in bulk who need to keep source information. If you just want to save images you like, you do not need to buy it.

- When the job finishes, check that the item count matches the number of CSV rows. Large jobs can be interrupted by Pinterest rate limits, and it usually supports resuming.

Will Pinterest limit large-batch grabbing?
Yes. Any high-frequency requests can trigger the platform's rate limits, which show up as jobs slowing down or stopping. Its quota system is partly there to control this.
In practice: run in batches, do not start several jobs in a short time, and do not use your main account. After an interruption, use the resume feature instead of starting over.
Can I use the content I grab commercially?
